Frank A Cania, President

Frank Cania is founder and president of HR Compliance Experts. Frank earned an MS in employment law (MSEmpL) from the Shepard Broad Law School and holds certifications from the HR Certification Institute (SPHR), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), and the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI-CH). 

Frank is proud to have provided expert witness testimony to the House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee. Also, Frank regularly presents nationally on compliance-related topics and writes a blog called “Frankly Speaking.” 

Frank and his wife Becky have two amazing grandchildren, Connor, and Mackenzie, and two now often overlooked adult children, Blake and Ellie.

Amanda LeRoy, Vice President of Operations

Amanda LeRoy brings more than 15 years of experience in operations and organizational support to her role as Vice President of HR Operations at HR Compliance Experts. In this role, she leads the firm’s operational strategy and oversees the systems, processes, and day-to-day activities that keep the organization running effectively. Amanda plays a central leadership role in managing internal operations and supporting the consulting team all while ensuring the team operates efficiently while delivering responsive, high-quality support to clients. She is passionate about building strong operational frameworks and empowering the team to provide exceptional results for every client.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Lucas, and their children. She loves being outdoors, reading, and experiencing new adventures.

Irene Miller, Sr. HR Consultant

Irene Miller brings extensive multi-state and multi-industry experience to her role as a Senior HR Consultant with HR Compliance Experts. Irene partners with organizations to provide practical HR guidance, helping leaders navigate complex employment issues and strengthen their workplace practices.

Irene regularly supports her clients by conducting HR risk assessments, providing one-on-one coaching for leaders, developing tailored projects and trainings, and supporting organizations with employee relations and leadership development. Irene partners closely with her clients as a trusted HR advisor, helping leadership teams strengthen management practices, reduce risk, and build resilient, high-performing organizations.

Irene earned a BS in Management and Organizational Leadership and holds certifications from the HR Certification Institute (PHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).

Outside of work, Irene enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can usually find her outdoors enjoying the warm Florida weather and beaches. Her greatest joy is experiencing new adventures with her husband and children.

Chrissy Petraitis, HR Consultant

Chrissy Petraitis brings extensive human resources expertise and a practical, client-focused approach to her role as an HR Consultant with HR Compliance Experts. Since joining the firm in January 2022, Chrissy has partnered with organizations across multiple states to help them navigate complex employment challenges, strengthen compliance practices, and build effective leadership teams.

Chrissy regularly supports organizations with HR risk assessments, multi-state compliance strategy, leadership coaching, and management training. She works closely with business owners and leadership teams to identify potential risk areas, implement practical HR solutions, and develop managers who communicate clearly and lead confidently. Her work focuses on helping organizations reduce legal risk while creating stronger, more effective workplaces. 

Chrissy earned her BS in Education and holds the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) certification.

Outside of work, Chrissy enjoys traveling and exploring the National Parks, as well as hiking with her husband, Josh, and their three children. She is also passionate about Ragdoll cats.
